Social Responsability

Asia Shipping collaborates with the Community Action organization, whose mission is to provide continuous and integrated contributions towards social inclusion, through education, culture, jobs and citizenship for children, adolescents and young adults in partnership with structured community leaderships.

Businessmen from São Paulo founded Community Action in Brazil on April 10, 1967, with technical support from Action International (an American foundation that provides technical support services to non-governmental organizations). After carrying out scenario studies, social and economic research and regional mapping and characterization, Community Action decided to direct its activities to the southern region of the city of São Paulo.

Today, Community Action concentrates its activities in the Southern Zone of São Paulo, serving 22 organizations and following its objective of mobilizing community leaders and social educators, through continuous and integrated training.
